Curious about crochet? It’s so much fun, and so relaxing and meditative.
Friday June 13th-Beginner Basics. In this 2 hour class you’ll try out different hooks, learn about how to make the basic stitches, and crochet a dishcloth that uses those stitches. We will use DK weight cotton yarn that Nettie or Amy will help you pick out, and a size G (4.00 mm) hook.
Friday, June 20: Next Steps in Beginning Crochet. Building on the skills you learned from the first class, we’ll combine some stitches and learn to crochet a round shape to form a coaster, table mat, or even a small basket! We will use DK weight cotton again, and a G hook.
